Northern Illinois Fiero
Enthusiasts, Inc. (NIFE) Policies of Membership
1.
Membership dues for the upcoming year are payable annually
and typically due on December 31st
of the current year
for the upcoming year.
2. Fiero Focus Magazine is
published 6 times per year (Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/Jun,
Jul/Aug,
Sep/Oct, Nov/Dec) which constitutes a full year
membership subscription.
3. Members who do not pay
their dues for the upcoming year by December 31st of the
current year
will receive their January/February issue of
Fiero Focus (and all subsequent issues up to the point)
when their dues for the upcoming year are received.
4. Members that join NIFE up until August 31st of the
current year will receive all six issues of
Fiero Focus
published for the current year (when available) up to the
point of joining our club.
For example, if you join
during the month of August, new members receive the past
issues of
Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/Jun and Jul/Aug issues of
Fiero Focus. New members that join September 1st
or after
will receive the Sept/Oct Fiero Focus issue for the current
year and be considered members
for the upcoming year.
5. If you would like to use our club's logo, our Fiero
Focus logo, our club name, our club motto and the
Fiero
Focus name for your own personal needs, we would ask that
you send Club President,
Jim Hallman
(jhallman@fierofocus.com) a request in writing to grant a
courtesy permission for their use.
6. The Northern
Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts may list your full name in club
media including,
but not limited to: Fiero Focus Magazine,
website, FieroCast, and Facebook page.
7. The Board
Members of the Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts, Inc.
(the Board) may expel any Club
Member for cause. The Club
Member, with reasonable notice given, shall have the
opportunity to refute
any charges made against that
Member during a meeting with the Board. Expulsion shall
require a majority
vote of all members of the Board.
"Cause" is defined as: a. Verbal or physical harassment of a
club
member b. Disparagement against the club or a club
member c. Theft involving club assets or personal
property of a club member d. Behavior at a sanctioned NIFE
club event that poses an undue hazard to
persons or
property e. Other actions deemed unbecoming of a club
member.
8. Privacy Notice: The Northern Illinois
Fiero Enthusiasts will not sell or share your personal
address or
contact information with any outside vendors
or other third parties unless explicitly noted.
Your personal information is used
only
for conducting club related business by the board
members of this club.
